Free Online Cyberpsychology Textbooks
Cyberpsychology is one of the newer academic disciplines in the field of psychology. As technology, computers and the Internet have become more central to our everyday lives; more and more of our behavior is being effected. According to Wikipedia, “Cyberpsychology is the study of the human mind and behavior in the context of human-technology interaction.” The majority of current research is focusing on the Internet, social media and online relationships. The field also studies the effects of cyborgs, artificial intelligence and virtual reality on our behavior and interaction with others.
With such a new field of study, there’s not a huge wealth of printed material available. Much of the research being conducted in cyberpsychology is being conducted and shared online.
I’ve found only a trio of free online cyberpsychology texts so far but hopefully they will provide you with the information you are seeking.
