The thesis is that culmanation of everything that went before. All of the hours in the classroom, late nights and desparate last minute revisions come down to that one document - the ultimate book report. It is that one assignment that can make or break a student.

Many of the world's finest colleges and universities are making student theses available online. While none of these can take the place of college textbooks, they are excellent sources for information on a wide variety of topics. They can provide future students with inspiration, topic ideas or places to take someone else's research and expand upon areas only lightly covered. Even the bibliographies make for a great reference tool for other students.

I've included links to a number of thesis repositories and scholar sites to offer them as a starting point. The focus here is on using these words as reference materials, not as a source of material to plagierize. Students should never forget that anything they find online can easily be found by their professors too.

From the site, "an electronic archive for self-archive papers in any area of Psychology, neuroscience, and Linguistics, and many areas of Computer Science, Philosophy, Biology, Medicine , Anthropology, as well as any other portions of the physical, social and mathematical sciences that are pertinent to the study of cognition." I found a number of excellent pre-publish books, research papers and other scholarly information here and would definitely include it in my bookmarks if I were a student in any of the included academic disciplines.
